OFF TO SAPA

SAPA, VIETNAM (JAN 2012)

Trekking and homestay in Sapa is part of our 5D4N Vietnam tour arranged by Madam Moon Guesthouse and was the highlight of our trip.

We took an overnight train and arrived at Sapa at dawn. They took us to Sapa Summit Hotel, from there we met our tour guide and other people that joined us on trekking. Our trekking route was along the villages of Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van. Then we had one night homestay in Ta Van Village. The next day, we continued the trek to the villages of Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan. It was my first time trekking and some routes are really steep but glad that I was able to finish the trek.

After our trekking, a van picked us up from Su Pan and drove us back to Sapa Summit Hotel. Then at night, they drove us to train station for an overnight train back to Hanoi.
